Specialty coffee from Colombia LOW CAF
Discover one of the most unique and rare coffees arriving this year at Floco Coffee Roasters. A low-caffeine coffee… but not decaf.
A true innovation designed for those looking to reduce caffeine without sacrificing the flavor, complexity, and purity of a specialty coffee.
Originating from Pitalito, Huila, and cultivated by the Hernández Nogales Family, this microlot stands out for its clean and surprisingly sweet profile: medium-creamy body, low acidity, and notes of banana, caramel, and papaya.
A balanced, approachable coffee that's incredibly enjoyable any time of day.
What makes this Low Caf unique?
Its process is entirely natural and preserves the sensory qualities of the bean.
The beans are immersed in hot water (80°C) to open their pores, and then the caffeine is extracted using a natural solvent obtained from the coffee pulp itself. This process is repeated three times, eliminating approximately 95% of the caffeine without altering its original flavor.
The result: A coffee that is lighter in caffeine, 100% natural, sustainable, and with an authentic flavor you won't find in decaf.
⚠️ Very limited availability.
This microlot is so exclusive that we can only offer it for a very short time. If you enjoy trying different coffees, this is a must-try.
