More about this Costa Rican coffee

This specialty coffee comes from the Tres Milagros farm in Costa Rica, which has been owned by the Facusse family for more than five decades, establishing itself as a true example of traditional coffee in the region.

What makes this Costa Rican coffee unique is its origins on a farm that carefully curates every stage of the process, from planting to harvest. Thanks to the region's ideal climate and soil conditions, the beans develop a complexity of flavors that reflect the country's biodiversity. The Facusse family's commitment to quality, sustainability, and coffee tradition give this coffee a special character that is perceived in every cup.

This coffee has been carefully roasted to highlight the exceptional characteristics of a perfect espresso. Its roasting process achieves an ideal balance between sweetness, body, and acidity, highlighting complex and deep notes that are intensified when prepared as espresso.

The true taste of Costa Rica in every cup!

Honey Process

Coffee cherries are harvested when they reach a Brix temperature of over 21°C. They are then soaked in water for one hour and pulped, leaving a 45% mucilage content. They are sun-dried on African coffee beds for 20 to 22 days until they reach a moisture content of 10.5%. They are then stabilized in a warehouse for 16 days before being stored in GrainPro bags. Finally, the coffee is cupped, and the lots are sorted by quality.

Red Bourbon Variety

Red Bourbon coffee is a variety highly valued for its excellent quality and flavor. Its cultivation requires specific conditions, as the plant is sensitive to drastic changes in climate. Red Bourbon is recognized for its balanced profile, which makes it ideal for specialty coffees. Its adaptability makes it a popular choice among producers. This variety continues to be a benchmark for its consistency and character in the coffee world.
