El Original – Gigante
El Original is a blended coffee from Gigante, Huila, crafted with dedication to pay homage to the region’s rich coffee tradition. Grown at altitudes of 1,500 to 1,700 meters above sea level, this washed coffee reflects the perfect combination of ancestral and modern techniques employed by local farmers. With notes of dark chocolate, caramel, floral, citrus and nuts, “El Original” offers a unique sensory experience. Each cup captures the essence of the fertile land and the hard work of generations of coffee growers, making this coffee a true celebration of the diversity and richness of Colombian coffee.
El Verde – Zarza Coffee
This exceptional coffee is grown in the picturesque region of Bruselas, Huila, Colombia, at altitudes ranging from 1,350 to 1,800 meters above sea level. Originating from the Castillo and Colombia varieties, this washed coffee is the result of a meticulous process that begins with the harvesting of ripe cherries and careful selection to ensure the purity of the bean. The process includes an initial 12-hour oxidation in the cherry, followed by pulping and a second oxidation with the mucilage. A submerged anaerobic fermentation is carried out to balance the flavors, ending with washing and drying in marquees for 10 to 12 days, depending on the climate. Finally, the coffee is stabilized for at least 10 days in the cellar. This coffee offers a flavor profile that combines delicious notes of toffee, red apple and milk chocolate, providing a rich and complex tasting experience that reflects the dedication and artistry of Huila coffee growers.
El Morado – El Diviso and Las Flores
This exceptional coffee is grown in the Pitalito region, Huila, Colombia, at altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 1,850 meters above sea level. Originating from the Tabi and Colombia varieties, this washed coffee is the result of a meticulous process that begins with the selection of ripe cherries and an initial oxidation of 36 hours. After pulping, a submerged fermentation with must recirculation takes place for 48 to 60 hours, followed by sun drying and finished with mechanical drying. This coffee offers a flavor profile that combines notes of wafer, panela, red apple, date and caramelized sugar, providing a rich and complex tasting experience that reflects the dedication and artistry of Huila coffee growers.
